Checklick Presenting – Sail Canada Instructor of the Year Award
On Saturday, January 24th, Dominik Jablecki attended Sail Canada’s Celebration of Sailing at the Enercare Centre in Toronto with the Checklick team.
The Event
The Celebration of Sailing brought the Canadian sailing community together for a fun evening of awards and recognition.
One of the biggest highlights of the night was presenting the Sail Canada Instructor of the Year Award, presented by Checklick, to Lucas Henderson from Brockville, Ontario. This award celebrates instructors who make a big difference in sailing programs across Canada, and we were proud to support and present it.
The event also honored:
- Richard Clarke as Sail Canada Sailor of the Year
- Dale King as Sail Canada Volunteer of the Year
- Ontario Sailing award winners
The evening also celebrated the Canadian Olympic Sailing Teams from 1980 and 2000.
After the event, Dominik shared:
“Thank you very much for the invitation. Your events are always fun, and I enjoy seeing people I haven’t seen in years.”
